The non-political part is about Musk. Musk has begun openly and actively supporting the same political alliance as Heritage (the think tank) and now they are using their usual political resources to help his business.

Will they persecute people in NASA who Musk doesn't like? That would be a serious blow to NASA. Note also that Musk is already making a lot of money from NASA. Can't SpaceX succeed on its merits? Do they?

Who had on their bingo card: America’s decline expedited by a mediocre real estate tycoon and alt right populist and accelerated by a megalomaniac worth 200B?

Such a storied, and amazing government agency like NASA who did and continues to do amazing things with a relatively paltry budget (imagine what they could do with the budget even 10% of the yearly military budget) to attack them is just unamerican and mean.

The only business Musk has that doesn't exist because of Gov money (American Tax dollars) is twitter. And now it's worth a fraction of what he payed.

But the reality is he is angry with the Biden Administration and Democrats for two reasons. One is they marginalized him and Tesla. The second is one of his kids is Trans and he blames the Dems/Woke crowd. Same as Trump, he isn't interested in America, he just wants to get even. There are a lot of folks he wants to go after.

    Junk away....

I went to see a play about the McCarthy era recently. Just saying.
